Organic Cayenne Chile Flakes - The cayenne chile pepper is a specific type of chile pepper, but commonly referred to as “ground red pepper”. It is commonly used to make vinegar based hot sauces, the basis for heat in Korean, Thai and Asian dishes and most famously for its use in “Buffalo” wing sauce. Cayenne chile peppers are hot in the spicy heat scale and range from 30,000 to 50,000 Scoville heat units. It is a red thin chile pepper, around 2 inches in length.

General uses and cooking ideas
