New Mexican Green Chile Flakes - These green chiles look similar to the Anaheim chile peppers, but the New Mexican Green Chile is slightly hotter with a deeper flavor profile. These chiles are generally little milder than the ripened red version, and are used in New Mexican, Mexican, Tex-Mex and Southwest cuisines to make salsas and sauces. It is mild and very versatile chile pepper and adds a green chile flavor without much heat.

The New Mexican Green Chile Flakes are offered in a reusable 4 oz. glass spice bottle with a quality plastic grinder top filled with .9 oz. of New Mexican Green Chile Flakes, from New Mexico.  These grinders only crush the chile flakes to release their spice.  They do not grind the flakes into a powder/granules.
