Adobo Seasoning - This seasoning is a classic Latin & Caribbean all purpose seasoning originally from Spain and Portugal. Our Adobo Seasoning consists of: garlic, Pacific sea salt, cracked black peppercorns, annatto seeds, onion flakes, orange peel, lime peel, oregano and cumin.
Adobo Seasonings are generally used to marinate meat or used to season sauces, but the garlicky, peppery, citrus herb flavor could be used just as well to seasoning sautéed, roasted or grilled vegetables.
- To marinate your chicken, steak or seafood, rub or spray a light amount of oil on your meat, the freshly grind on your Adobo Seasoning and let marinate refrigerated for at least 20 minutes up to over night. The heavier the amount of seasoning you grind onto your food and the longer the marinating time, is the stringer the flavor.
- To flavor sauces, use grind your Adobo Seasoning directly into your sauce just as you are finished making it.
